Welcome to Suomela Camping!
A lovely camping area just around the corner of Kärsämäki village, right by the woods. You can drive to our location very easily from highway four (4-tie). The camping area has log cabins and granaries which have electricity and heat radiators, tent area and special area for caravans. There is a shared kitchen 24/7, bathroom and shower facilities, laundry room and grilling shed with firewood.
There is a coffee house on the camping grounds that is open with the same times as the reception, where you can enjoy for example our sweet or savory waffles. You can also find a new frisbee golf course, tennis- and volleyballcourt, go-karting, a lit track and stairs for running and sporting. You can also find a lovely wood burning sauna, which you can book to yourself from the reception.
Right by the camping ground you can find a very cozy bakery-cafe Paakarin Pysäkki, where you can have lunch and also buy the locally made bread, souvenirs, art and handcrafts made by local artists.
The nearest stores are K-market 500 m, S- market 700m and Juustoportti 1 km.
The cabin prices depend on the amounts of people, 50-75 €/ 1-4 person, the biggest cabin 8 person 110 €. Breakfast is not included with the accommodation, but you can order breakfast separately from the reception.
The area and its buildings are perfectly suitable also for organizing various events and parties.During the summer of 2023 Suomela Camping served its customers from May until October.
We will open our doors again in May until September.
