NUTTULINNA

Welcome to Nuttuperä, Motelli Nuttulinna.

Motelli Nuttulinna is located in the centre of Finland, surrounded by meadowgrass and fields right by the highway four (4-tie), at Kärsämäki.

The motel was originally built in the 1950's as Nuttula's public school, where it served for 10 years as a school for over a hundred children. Motel Nuttulinna opened its doors to travelers in 1978.

You can come and rest surrounded by aspen trees after long journey and reserve accommodation for a one night or a longer period of time. At our establishment you will find a unique retro vibe, cozy setting with soft sheets and adorable personel who will take care of you and your company, so your needs will be fulfilled.

STAYING AT NUTTULINNA

There are five different rooms for accommodation. Downstairs we have two rooms (number 1. and 2.) that accommodate two people and one room that accommodate four people (number 3.) and upstairs you can find a room called "Hattuhuone," which is suitable for families (number 4.). There is one double bed, single bed, sofa-bed and one crib. All rooms have their own bathroom and shower. You can also accommodate a room number 5 for 5-6 people, which is currently under going a bathroom renovation. When accommodating this room there is shared bathroom and shower you can use located downstairs.

The upstairs is currently under going a full renovation and in the end of spring we will have three new studios, spacious shared space and bathroom. The facade of the house was painted in sunny

yellow in the summer of 2021. The rooms have been repaired honoring its time period which we are very proud of.

During the summer time you can stay at the lovely granary with a cozy hunting lodge vibe. You can also reserve a little cottage, that can accommodate multiple people with cozy bunk beds.

In a shared lobby there is refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, coffee, tea and fresh fruits for all visitors to enjoy. We also have a tiny gym, where you can find equipment for light exercise. In a lobby there is a massage chair right by the baking ovens heat. We also have a sauna with pink walls that you can reserve for 15 € per turn. There is free Wi-Fi for all customers. You can park your car for free at the private parking area.

In the surrounding area you can go hiking or cross country skiing, you can also rent a SUP- board from us to have a smooth ride on the Pyhäjoki waters, go for a fishing or hunting trip or book a horseback ride hike with icelandic horses.

At our establishment you get to enjoy a tasty homemade and versatile breakfast. Our breakfast is famous for its freshly baked buns and Susanna's home made rye bread which is baked in the Nuttulinna's own baking oven. After breakfast you can pack a snack on the road that is included with the accommodation. We are more than happy to prepare a dinner or a late night snack that you can order before your arrival.

Here at Nuttulinna we use organic food from local farms. The meat products we use come from the farms called Farmila and Sydänmaa's cattle ranch. Local fishermen supply us with delicious fish products.

When arriving the Nuttulinna during the evening you can enjoy a tasty beverage at the old bar of Nuttulinna or you can sing karaoke if you feel like getting loose.
